L’Italia è un paese con una surf culture giovane: l’esplorazione, la ricerca di onde lungo le sue coste offrono ancora molte sorprese.

Peninsula è un viaggio di esplorazione da nord a sud, lungo le coste della penisola, in compagnia di alcuni tra i migliori surfisti italiani ed un paio di ospiti internazionali di fama indiscussa: questo è il mezzo che abbiamo scelto per raccontare un paese, le sue coste, il suo mare e la sua gente.

Girato tra il 2011 e il 2013 principalmente in16mm, 35mm e Super 8 PENINSULA è un freedom collage di surf, mare, ecologia e la storia di questo sport nel nostro paese e i suoi protagonisti.

Italy is a country with still a young and growing surf culture. The research and some waves are yet unknown.

Peninsula is an exploration journey along the Italian costlines, together with some of the best Italian surfers and a couple of ineternational surfers: this is the mean we have chosen to show a country, its sea and its people.

Shot between 2011 and 2013 in 16mm, 35mm and Super8 Peninsula is a freedomcollage about surf, ecology, history of this sport in our country and its protagonists.
